The wait is over for Rolex watch lovers after the Basel World 2016 when Rolex launched its Air-King at the fair. One can hardly deny that reading an hour or only double digit minute markers on its dial is rather easier than noticing single digit hours at some places while minute markings at others.

The movement used in Air-King is the 3131 caliber that operates at 28,800 vph and also has the reserving power of 48 hours. Just like all other Rolex watches, the Air0King is first tested by COSC and then by Rolex Superlative Chronometer certification. This latter new test refers to the fact the watch will be tested to run between -2/+2 seconds per day. Being an entry level Rolex, the Air-King Ref.116900 is an appropriate model for those who couldn’t get into the previous model with smaller 34mm case size. The new hour and minute markers may take a little time to get used to but this is not a big problem at all.
